ZINARIYA Youth Forum (Z.Y.F) Jos North Local Government Area (LGA) of Plateau State has presented wrappers to some Muslim Women and girls within the Zinariya community.

SUNDAY STANDARD reports that the event took place at Aisha Hassan Academy Jos, recently.

Z.Y.F Chairman, Mr. Auwal Yahaya who spoke through his Vice Chairman, Alh. Bakari H. Abu said that the forum has done a lot in it’s humanitarian services to both Christians and Muslims with different kinds of support, especially to the less privilege and vulnerable groups in the society.

Yahaya affirmed that, the aims and objectives of the forum is to assist orphans and less privilege, provide water supply, skills acquisition provide security architecture in Zinariya  with provision of road construction among others.

He further explained that the forum has recently distributed assorted food stuff to some vulnerable people as part of its palliatives during the Covid-19 lockdown directive by the Plateau State government to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the state.

Z.Y.F chairman noted that, some of the forum’s achievement include; donation of 100 wheel chairs to hand-capped people and provide Sallah cloths to 200 people among others.

Yahaya said they always tasked themselves whenever they planned to reach out to those in need of support.

In his remarks, patron of the forum, Nazifa Ahmed commended Z.Y.F for the good work they were doing and encouraged them not to relent in their effort in such a laudable humanitarian service to the people.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with SUNDAY STANDAD expressed happiness and thanked the forum for their show of concern to them during the Ramandan fast and called on other groups or individuals to emulate the forum.
